We were hand in hand walking at night

It was so dark, but you were my light

Now I’m all alone

Never thought you’d be gone

Send me your angel, and my life will be bright

    1. Thank you, Ameena 🙂 Who do you mean? My father? This is actually not dedicated to anyone. I just thought about it randomly, but yeah I think I can dedicate it to him 🙂

  1. That was a very fresh take on the limerick! One question that I had was whether “angle” was meant to be “angel,” or whether you intentionally played on the proximity of angle to angel. Either way, an interesting read!

      1. I can understand that. Just go with the flow 😉 No dear, this time I’m full with my other work, so can’t make it 😦 Hopefully, next time 🙂 However, till that time, learning from you guys 🙂
